Imagine this.
In order for you to buy your weekly or monthly grocery, you need to bring a car or book a Grab for your grocery items. Also, you can only do the shopping, perhaps on a weekend because you are all caught up with work on weekdays. Plus the Metro Manila traffic is really horrific, and lastly, if you bring your own car, you need to haggle for your parking.
The time you have to spend at each trip can be diverted to doing other activities for work or leisure. honestbee, the Singapore-based app that has recently launched its services in Manila, can help save you that time and effort with just a few swipes and clicks.
Personal Shopper
honestbee works as your personal shopper/online application, where you can pick the items that you need from partner establishments such as Robinsons Supermarket, Fresh Options Meatshop, Solo Meat Group, G-stuff, The Straits Wine Company, Harvestime, Figures of Beans, AWC, Incredible India, and even baby products from Chicco. They don’t stockpile their items in a warehouse, so the product gets to you fresh and handpicked by their “worker bees” upon order and according to your specifications.
Shopper’s fee + delivery fee
With honestbee, you get to save both time and money. You don’t need to load up on gas and shell out money for parking fees, nor do you have to rely on public transportation or ride-sharing services just to go out and stock up your refrigerator and pantry. You can even shop from multiple stores in one order and still get your items delivered in two hours! Delivery hours are from 10am – 8pm daily, subject to store operating hours, including weekends and public holidays and you can also schedule your delivery. There is a P99 shopper fee. Free delivery is offered for a minimum spend of ₱1,500. Otherwise, a delivery fee of ₱99 applies.

All you need to do is download the app from Apple or Google Play Store, register using the confirmation email, tag your location, and pick out the items you need. Aside from your groceries, honestbee can also deliver goodies such as your favorite dishes from Goodah to Yoshinoya to S&R Pizza. As if it is not helpful enough for busy individuals, the app can also help with other chores such as picking up your laundry.
The app can be used on iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and tablets, over mobile or Wi-Fi connections. A desktop version is also available for groceries. First-time users get a P500 voucher with a minimum spend of Php1,500, and regular customers can always check the honestbee website or app for the latest promos that are available. The app also gives useful alerts for items that are on sale, such as the Robinson’s Daily Savings feature in the Promotions tab.
With more people discovering the timesaving and cost-efficient features that honestbee brings, it has currently been ranked as the #3 app in android and #4 in iOS as of August 2017 for e-commerce.
