The Nokia 1 is the cheapest among the three, with Android 8.1 “Oreo Go” operating system installed. The Android Go is a program distributed for some devices with 1GB RAM or less. Specs-wise, the design of the phone reminiscent of the former Nokia “Asha” series. The back cover is now removable, which they re-introduced the Xpress-on covers that were first appeared in 1998, with Nokia 5110. The front dominates the 4.5″ FWVGA IPS display.

Measuring 133.6 x 67.78 x 9.5 mm, the Nokia 1 weighs at 131 grams, including the battery and packs with 2,150 mAh removable capacity. To add the protection, the smartphone is IP52 certified, which is protected against falling drops of water. The screen is now upgraded to 6.0-inch, compared to the 5.2-inch previously, with the same IPS LCD display and Series 6000 aluminum body. Both the dual rear cameras (12-megapixel + 13-megapixel) and the selfie shooter (16-megapixel) are integrated with Carl Zeiss optics.
