Huawei Mate 10 Lite announced with Quad Cameras, priced at €399

Apart from the flagship Mate 10 series, Huawei also debuted the “Lite” version in Europe, which was already announced in China, known as the Maimang 6 and Nova 2i here in the Philippines.

In case you missed it, the Mate 10 Lite is a mid-range offering a 5.9-inch FHD+ screen and very little bezels. It’s now based on Kirin 659 processor, and without the Al-powered chip. The phone has 64GB storage, which is expandable, and 4GB RAM.

The pinnacle of the device is the camera arrangement, both on front and back sensors. For the rear, it consists of a 16-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor for monochrome. Meanwhile, the front camera shows a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel shooters.

Battery loads at 3,340 mAh without indicating if it’s a fast charging capable. Also, Huawei will use the microUSB on the Mate 10 Lite, instead of USB Type-C port. Fingerprint sensor is situated below the dual cameras at the back. It ships, still, at Android OS v7.0 “Nougat”, using the company’s marketed EMUI 5.1 on top.

The device will be available by November in many European countries like Germany, for a price set at €399.
