LG learned from us with its LG G2 smartest smartphone ever!

For me, LG Electronics came that close to reinventing the wheel or, in this case, the smartphone with its LTE-ready LG G2 dubbed unanimously and internationally as “the best smartphone in the world” by Stuff.tv and a recent PhoneArena.com poll. LG Philippines recently held its grand launch at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque City.

To do just that, LG simply… listened. “Learning from You,” that is, the end-consumer, is their key message.

Who would have thought that placing the main key at the back of the phone instead of the usual buttons at the sides would make a lot of difference? Instead of imposing its design on us, LG keenly observed how we hold our mobile phones. Thus, they came up with the groundbreaking, world’s first ever Rear Key design. Such human-inspired revolutionary feature makes for an intuitive finger usage and better grip. So simple yet so out of the box!

With the Rear Key, for example, we can launch its 13MP Camera. (Yes, you read it right. It’s a lucky 13 megapixel galore!) Other than its scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal Camera (which is the next hardest to the diamond) and its Optimal Image Stabilization technology (no shaky hands or bumpy ride can blur your pictures!), you might just be tempted to leave your bulky DSLR camera at home because, with its 9 Multi-points AF and Super Resolution 8X zoom, you can have samurai-sharp close-up or moving images.

Hate photobombers? No problem. LG learned from us again. With LG G2’s Shot and Clear feature, it captures the background just before that streaker cuts in the frame. With a touch of the finger, you can have the picture you really wanted to shoot minus the nuisance. (During the launch, that Shot and Clear feature got the loudest applause!)

You want to capture the best man’s speech in the wedding reception but the ambient noise seems to crowd it? Again, LG heard you loud and clear. LG G2’s Audio Zoom lets you zero in on the best man, amplifying his speech while tuning out the noise around you.

Watching your son’s basketball game and you want to keep track of him without zooming in since you like to capture the big picture? LG G2 listened. LG G2’s Tracking Zoom highlights your son’s fast break while keeping the rest of the team’s play in view.

Can’t find another person to take your group shot? LG, again, learned from us. Usually it’s a toss-up between the front camera and the rear camera. But its Dual Recording/Dual Camera allows simultaneous video recording or picture taking with its picture-in-picture technology. Simply put, the one holding the camera is also captured in the video or the photo.

Tired of wasting time looking for the different remote controls of your appliance? At the risk of sounding like a broken record, indeed, LG listened. Operate your TV, cable box, stereo, DVD or Blu-ray player, and even your home A/C with only your LG G2’s Quick Remote. No more multiple remote controls.

Bundle such features (and a lot more!) with a 5.2” Full HD IPS Display, a long-lasting 3,000 mAh SiO+ battery and the uber-fast Snapdragon 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Processor (LG G2 is the first ever to have it!) and… you get the smartest smartphone ever.

It’s all because LG simply listened and really learned from you and me.
