Here in the Philippines, the much anticipated OPPO F5 seems to be a very successful event, as it launches with eye-catching 20-megapixel sensor with Al recognition and a taller, but narrower 18:9 display. In China, the flagship OPPO R11S and R11S Plus have been revealed in their website, ahead of its final announcement.

Now, another smartphone from the Chinese company pops-up in TENAA, dubbed the OPPO A73. It is obviously the successor of OPPO A71, which was released here in the Philippines last September 2017.

The OPPO A73 is the first from the “A” series to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio, and the sixth smartphone from the company (after the OPPO F5, F5 6GB, F5 Youth, R11S and R11S Plus).

Going to the specs, it is expected that the OPPO A73 will have a 6-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution and is made in a metal body. Meanwhile, the camera comes in a 13-megapixel sensor at the back, and 16-megapixel sensor at the front. Battery capacity is a 3,115 mAh, while RAM and storage is 4GB and 32GB, respectively. It will be powered by an unknown 2.5Ghz processor (presumed to be a MediaTek 6763T and Mali-G71 GPU).

There will be two colors available: Gold and Black. It runs on Android v7.1.1 “Nougat” and measures 156.5 × 76.0 × 7.5 mm.
