Previewed: HTC One X and HTC One V

Smart’s Jump Experience Center in Megamall hosted today the pre-launch of HTC One X to the Cyberpress, the online media and bloggers among others.

HTC One X is the flagship smartphone of HTC, the first quad core smart phone in the country. To be officially launched on Friday, April 13 at the SKYE RoofDeck at Bonifacio High Street the online media had already the first look and feel of this power-packed phone from HTC.

HTC One X sports a unibody design wrapped with polycarbonate body, Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 4.7-inch super LCD 2 display and 8 megapixel camera. It runs on the latest Android OS – ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich), Beats audio software that produces high-quality audio. And if current smartphones offers only 16G or even lower storage capacity, this baby has 32G and once you buy one you get 2 years of 25G Dropbox cloud storage.

The smartphone is armed with an amazing camera with a F2.0 opening intended for low-light shooting, it allows you to do speed shooting. The camera activates 0.7 seconds and focus within 0.2 seconds and captures at a speed of 4 frames per second. This is almost a speed of a digital SLR! While shooting a video, you can do a snapshot and take a still photo without interrupting the video capture. HTC One X uses a micro sim.

HTC One X has a baby brother – HTC One V. This one has 1Ghz processor, 5MP camera, smaller form factor at 3.7″ super LCD 2, 4G storage and 512mb memory. Will be available in Titanium Grey and carries a standard SIM card.

Francisco Tormo III, Marketing Communications Manager of HTC did a drop test to show how tough HTC One X. The first time he did the drop test nobody captured it, but we requested to do it again after the conference.. just to make sure HTC One X will still be usable. We were not frustrated. Check out our Youtube clip below, it is a compiled photo though.
