Conclusion.
The Starmobile Diamond V3 is priced at PhP8,990, it has a fast processor, a nice shooter at 12MP, only that it did not impress me when I was using it for daily use. Some apps would crash, and the data connectivity becomes unreliable even on strong HSPA signal, it performs better when connected to the WiFi. Battery life lasts for a day, average of controlled usage will give you more than 8 hours.
The Starmobile Diamond V3 that went to my hands as review unit could be the “bad copy”, a term used for camera lens. There are lens that are really good copy and takes talk sharp images, but other copies would not perform as expected. I hope the V3 that went to hands is the bad copy because other reviews I read gave good results. Nonetheless, Diamond V3 could be good choice of a mid-range smarpthone if you are looking for a big screen, a good shooter plus a huge battery that will last you a day of controlled usage.

I got my unit sa SUN and wala pang 1 month nagka problema na sa touch screen. and because it’s beyond 7 days na di na raw i rereplace ng sun yun… so i need to wait for 2 mos to get it back. Honestly, a cheap phone is not worth the hassle. Go for the free samsung unit instead kahit na lower specs. I learned my lesson the hard way.
