Overview

The JBL Soundgear Frames are the epitome of how music and fashion can harmoniously coexist.

The latest thermoplastic materials are used in the construction of the frames, which are sleek, flexible, and lightweight.

They are comfortable enough to wear for the entirety of the day, and they are available in three distinct translucent colors and two fashionable designs.

Two versions are available right away — the round and square versions, which are available in Onyx, Amber and Pear colorways.

Unboxed: The JBL SoundGear Frames Round

We got the pear colorways for our review thanks to our friends at JBL Philippines.

The box is very “JBL” in branding, it has bright colors around it, and features are well visible so that buyers may immediately get an idea of what’s inside.

Inside the box are the soft leather case, a dual USB C charging cable, some user manuals, and a microfiber cloth.

First impressions

The glasses have a nice build and are a little chunky at first glance. The hinge is made of metal, which presents itself as a long-lasting material.

Open the temples to turn the speakers on and close them to turn them off. When you’re wearing them, just tap the JBL logo on either temple to adjust the volume, answer a call, or skip a song.

The speakers, which use JBL OpenSound technology, are installed inside the temples to improve both their look and comfort. They offer a vivid and enjoyable audio experience while also letting you hear what is going on around you. Once you have connected the SoundGear Frames to the JBL Headphones app, you may customize the sound to your liking.

Don’t forget to download the JBL mobile app that automatically prompts you when you open the Bluetooth on your phone.
