The City Government of Pasay has teamed with PLDT Inc. (PLDT), a leading integrated telecom network, through its business-to-business division, PLDT Enterprise, to introduce the official hotline, ‘888-PASAY,’ or 888-72729. This initiative aims to improve and streamline interactions between the city and its residents.

The new system provides a single point of contact for all citizen questions, problems, and requests, replacing the numerous phone lines for different city hall departments. With this change, Pasayeños will have faster, more direct access to the services they require by creating a communication channel that is more effective and responsive.
“We are proud to partner with the City Government of Pasay and Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano in strengthening communications in their city through relevant PLDT Enterprise digital products and solutions. Together with the City Government of Pasay, we are committed to enabling the city to further level up the delivery of its government services to their constituents,” said Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise and International Core Business at PLDT and Smart.
The Pasay City Public Information Office (PIO) will staff the 888-PASAY trunkline, whose job it is to answer questions and route callers to the relevant agency. Additionally, the system will use cutting-edge call-routing technology to guarantee quick and effective call reception.
“We are committed to making our government more accessible and responsive to the needs of our constituents,” stated Mayor Calixto-Rubiano. “This new system will significantly improve our ability to serve our constituents. It will allow us to respond to their needs more quickly and effectively, ultimately making their lives easier and more convenient.”

In order to better serve the people of Pasay City, PLDT Enterprise and the City Government of Pasay are modernizing the city’s networks and correspondence system to meet the LGU’s changing demands. This partnership will result in quicker response times and better service delivery. The telco company and the City Government of Pasay’s persistent commitment to enhancing service delivery and building a more effective and citizen-centric government is demonstrated by this relationship.
This program is consistent with the PLDT Group’s mission to empower communities and facilitate the development of smart cities via significant innovation, which is a key component of its support for the government’s push toward digitization in general. Additionally, it helps achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, especially Goal No. 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
