ASUS NovaGo convertible laptop powered by Snapdragon 835 unveiled

During the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2017 that is currently being held, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen, took the stage to announce the ASUS NovaGo, the first laptop that is powered by Gigabit LTE X16 integrated with the 2017-flagship Snapdragon 835 chipset.

“Today marks the beginning of a new era of personal computing and ASUS is proud to be paving the way with Qualcomm Technologies and other companies to develop this new landscape for ‘Always Connected’ Windows on Snapdragon PCs. ASUS NovaGo reinvents the concept of laptop connectivity and productivity — it’s the world’s first announced laptop that is connected virtually anywhere, at any time, with the new Gigabit LTE network*; and lasts up to 22 hours on a single charge for ‘all-day’ battery life.” – Jerry Shen said.

The new ASUS NovaGo also supported by Cortana, Windows Hello, Windows Ink along with three memory configurations: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.0 with either 4GB or 8GB RAM. Noted on being the first notebook that fully runs on Windows 10 at ARM CPU, battery life also offers a 22-hour in a single charge and a whopping 30 days of standby.

It is expected that the ASUS NovaGo will be available by early next year. ASUS already in talks with many major providers across the United States and China, including Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, and China Telecom. Other countries, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and Taiwan to be specific) are in discussions too. Pricing starts at $599 for the 64GB version and 4GB RAM and $799 on the upgraded 128GB storage and 8GB RAM model. For the 256GB storage, the price is yet to be disclosed.
