Asus unveils Pegasus X002 with LTE support, 64-Bit SoC, 2G RAM

In this times where smartphone prices are becoming competetive and many brands like Asus and Xiaomi are presenting their affordable models, the consumer has to make their choice.

ASUS recently introduced a non-Zenfone model to counter the low-priced Xiaomi Redmi 1S model. According to reports, Pegasus X002 will be priced at USD128 only (Direct coversion P5,721.54).

What’s inside this 5-inch smartphone includes 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage, MediaTek’s 64-bit MT6732 SoC with 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU. A 2,500 mAh battery will power up the Pegasus X002 while the shooters includes 8MP rear camera with LED flash, while the selfie camera has 5MP.

The “Pegasus” name isn’t new to the company since ASUS takes its name from Pegasus, the winged horse in Greek mythology that symbolizes wisdom and knowledge.
