Record Breaking M2 World Championship Crowns New Kings of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – Bren Esports of The Philippines

The news is out and the new World Champions of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is Bren Esports (Bren) of the Philippines.

Bren emerged winner recently in the Shangri-La Singapore Grand Final of the M2 World Championship (M2), claiming a 4-3 victory over Myanmar’s Burmese Ghouls (BG) in a dramatic Best of Seven series that went down to the wire. Bren KarlTzy was also named Most Valuable Player of the Grand Final.

Bren received their prizes from Mr. Melvin Yong, Member of Parliament and Patron of Singapore’s Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA), and Mr Keith Tan, Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the team will also be awarded its very own M2-themed skin on an MLBB hero of the team’s choice.

In the opening Best of Three series of the M2 Playoffs, Bren avenged their 0-2 loss to BG with the Grand Final win, pushing Bren down to the Lower Bracket and having to take the longer route to the Grand Final.

Bren has also helped the Philippines regain the title of the strongest nation in MLBB esports in the process of becoming the new kings of MLBB, ending Indonesia’s recent domination by removing both Indonesian teams, Alter Ego Esports and RRQ Hoshi, en route to the Grand Final.
