This has been in the market and forums for more than two months now. I guess the official media launch was only delayed, the CloudFone line up was launched last night with The Thrill 430X as their flagship phone. The Thrill 430X promises a really long battery life with its 4160mAh that lets your call and text for six days!
Its not your regular thin smartphone because of the huge battery, it looks like a military-grade phone. 🙂
But the specs is pretty much decent for a smartphone that is powered by a Qualcomm processor, it has a dual-Core 1.2G Snapdragon S4, 758Mb RAM, 4G internal memory which you can expand via microSD up to 32G. Features 8MP rear camera that captures panoramic shot and HD video, the front camera has 2MP.
The camera has customizable features which you can use to control it almost manually. The CloudFone Thrill 430x is also powered by Yamaha audio chipset for a real crisp audio performance. Mr. Ryan Manrique, the Training Specialist of Cloudfone mentioned that you can play HD gaming and video with this phone, he showed me how his unit performs smoothly with Supersonic 3D game.
Corning has a growing competitor installed in this smartphone, the screen of CloudFone Thril 430x has dragontrail glass which is a scratch proof glass made by Asahi. Two choices of black and white models only.
There are 13 models of Cloudfone out in the market now. Mr. Manrique told us that their smartphones are assembled in China but parts are imported from other countries like Singapore.
