Our friend JJP from Naga City bought one and installed with excitement and anticipation in his 2008 BMW K1200 and went to his weekend escapade to the Batangas via Skyway.
Using the users manual as the only guide provided in the package, he pressed the record button and off he went to his destination.
Here’s the sample footage taken few days ago.
JJP started his ActionCam from his garage in Mandaluyong to Batangas. He pressed the record button once and let the camera record everything until the battery is drained.
The results:
1. The action cam continuously recorded videos for 15 minutes
2. The whole storage is filled with several 15-minute footage
3. The action continuously recorded until the battery is empty
4. Wit the 900mAH battery, it was able to record 1.5 hours of video
5. It records full HD (1080P) video.
As far as the color, video quality, my friend JJP is satisfied enough. However, I saw several washed out images, it maybe on the settings, but overall it is a pretty decent footage.
The action cam has mobile app for both IOS and Android user, you can check the download iSmart DV. The app however only preview photos and record videos, streaming the previously recorded footage is not possible.
At the end of the day, JJP was happy. For less than P4k, he has an action camera that document his rides. He can transfer videos using a SD card adapter and play it back directly to an Android device, or get an HDMI cable and connect it to his TV and review videos.
Hi I have a problem with my go pro from cdr king, after charging it for about 2 hours and then the moment I Am going to use it to connect on my phone, the wifi on my phone cannot detect the wifi from the the go pro, I dont know what happened and what to do. If you want an extra battery for this, you can buy it from Qube Asia, they are too selling their own Action Camera as X-Cam, ang maganda lang sa qube, kahit medyo mahal, kasama kc sa binili mo yung 8GB na memory card at Car Accessories, at nagtitinda sila ng separate battery for 350 only 🙂
