A new Galaxy Note7 is on its way. And don’t be disappointed if you see the same looks and design. While we don’t know what Samsung did to the NEW Galaxy Note 7, this is how you identify the Galaxy Note7 REPLACEMENT.

The Green Battery Icon

This is what you have to look for on the new device. The green battery icon will be visible in three areas of the Note 7.

The green battery indicator will show up the following areas: (1) the Status Bar; (2) the Always On Display screen; and (3) the Power Off prompt screen.

There’s another one: In the box

Look for the sign! The new Galaxy Note 7 has dedicated square symbol in the labels in the packaging box. See photo for reference.

Our highest priority is the safety of our customers, and we strongly urge Galaxy Note7 users to immediately participate in the replacement program based on local availability. – Samsung

It is also important to note that the color of the battery icon will change right after the mandated software update.
