Introducing Hashtags on Facebook #Really? #NowNa #Mema

Something that is not first implemented by Facebook. Something that is copied only from the first platforms who used the feature called hashtag.

Hashtag is a word or a phrase with a prefix symbol #, it was first implemented by Twitter. Instagram also uses the feature and maybe because most Facebook users were using it, Zuckerburg followed and implemented starting today.

Starting today, hashtags will be clickable on Facebook. Similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion. When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you’ll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic.

Few weeks ago, Facebook also implemented feelings and actions, adding more options to users by putting emoticons.

But you have to wait a little while, the roll out is not automatic. You may not apply the hashtag right now.
