Meizu silently launches the new line-up, the “A” series that act as the budget-centric smartphones for consumers. Being the A5 as the first device under the new family, it priced at an affordable CNY 699 or USD $105, and has a metal unibody design for premium looking.

Based on the listing on their website, the Meizu A5 offers entry-level features, that includes: a standard 5-inch GFF screen, 16GB storage (expandable), a 2 gig of RAM for multi-tasking. It powers a MediaTek MT6737 chipset and fueled by a generous 3,060 mAh battery size. The weight is just 140 grams and measures 144.0 x 70.5 x 8.3 mm.

Talking about the camera, a 8-megapixel is located on the rear, while the 5-megapixel lens is allocated for the front, with many beautification modes.
