MyPhone My35 Unboxing is our story for today!
Yes, we have the MyPhone My35 in our HQ for unboxing (and review afterwards).
The Rio fans will probably unhappy with the My series, not because the My series are pretty much gorgeous batch but hey, Myphone might have stopped the Rio series to give way to the much-improved looks inside and outside of the My series.
My35 for once is one hell of a gorgeous 5-inch smartphone. The nationalistic touch is still there with the Philippine map printed at the back cover and it is the default wallpaper of the smartphone.
Before we proceed, let us share with your first the tech specification of the MyPhone My35.
MyPhone My35 Specs
MyPhone My35 Price
The past years MyPhone is known for having premium pricing in their phones. But you’d be glad that My35 will only sell for an affordable price of P6,888. You also get a limited MyPhone 8-year commemorative watch.
Inside the box are these accessories — the wall charger, micro-USB cable and the earphones that looks like decent. A printed warranty certificate and the quick start guide is also included in the package.
MyPhone My35 back with shiny thin plastic that looks like a glass. The rear camera and the LED flash is conveniently located on the upper left corner of the My35. Be prepared with your micro-Fiber cloth because this back cover will collect lots of finger prints.
At the front, you will find the front camera on the left side, while at the center is the speaker and an LED notification light.
The MyPhone My35 comes pre-installed with a screen protector so you don’t have to go to your favorite stores for additional protection of your screen.
On the right side is the power button and on the opposite side are the volume rockers. They also put together the micro-USB slot and the audio port on top of the phone.
If you have seen the ZUK Z1, My35 has a similar looks in terms of the material used here. The edges and the curved sides are similar.
Peter of Gizguide.com has these notes which are negligible but worth reading before you go buy your own My35.
- 1 Ampere charger — that means slow charging. Not quite good for a battery with 3,140mAH.
- Earphone cable might wear out too soon.

MyPhone My35 Benchmark results
We run few of the benchmarking apps available at the Google play store and here’s what we got.
Antutu gave a high score of 30,231 which means it is a bang for the buck smartphone given the midrange specs.
The UI has gone flat too, almost stock, and I noticed that unlike other brands, My35 has a very few unwanted apps pre-installed.
MyPhone My35 camera test
We all want a good camera because we love to share photos in our social media. For most of us, it is the first thing we test on a smartphone. Let me share few photos from our quick date with My35.
When lighting is perfect you get this kind of image. Red is red, and blue is blue!
On a challenged lighting condition, you get this kind of image.
MyPhone My35 Camera UI looks like this. You can pull another screen that displays other options to enhance your shooting experience.
We will use My35 as our daily driver for the next couple of days and then we will out the review.
I guess My35 will be the best contender in the midrange category for the last quarter of 2015.
So while we are testing it. You can visit other tech blogs, visit Youtube channels and watch out for posts in Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
We have unofficial word that My35 will be available in stores on the last week of November.
