The Predator League 2024 Philippine Finals were held in SM North EDSA Cyberzone on November 11 and 12. Made in Philippines (MIPH) won in Dota 2 and Oasis Gaming in VALORANT. These wins gave both teams a Predator Shield and the chance to represent the Philippines at the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals in January 2024.
In the Dota 2 grand final, Made in Philippines played Smurfers. Smurfers beat Wong “ChuaN” Hock Chuan and Ryan “Raging Potato” Qui’s Neon Esports team 2-1. In the meantime, MIPH beat InterActive Philippines 2-0, which was a great performance.
Made in Philippines also beat Smurfers 2-0 in the final to win the title and the Php250,000 prize pool. The second place winner got Php100,000. Neon Esports and InterActive Philippines both got 55,000 Philippine pesos.
NAOS Esports lost the first game of the VALORANT championship, but Oasis Gaming returned to beat them 2-1 in the playoffs. ZOL Esports beat Valhalla in three tough games and will now play Oasis in the final. The Oasis team beat ZOL Esports easily, 2-0, to win the title.
The cash prize for Oasis Gaming was Php250,000, and the cash prize for ZOL was Php100,000. Valhalla and NAOS Esports both got 55,000 Philippine pesos.
Made in Philippines will likely face tough competition at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on January 13–14, 2024. Other strong Dota 2 teams in the region, such as Blacklist International, Execration, and the defending champions, Polaris Esports, will also be there. Oasis Gaming and ZOL Esports will also play Team Secret, run by Filipinos and one of the best teams in the VCT Pacific League.
It’s time for the Philippines to compete in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals. There will be 26 teams from all over the Asia Pacific region competing to be named the next APAC Predator League winners.
