Xiaomi PH brings Redmi Note 8 series; Crazy pricing in tow

The entire team of Ms. Ava Castillo thru its big boss Mark Li, Xiaomi PH current country manager has launched the Redmi Note 8 series effortlessly in the Philippines.

I say effortlessly because I am pretty sure the market will receive the Note 8 series effortlessly as well. Because, why not! The Redmi Note 8 series packs probably the best specifications of today’s smartphones, better cameras and most of all, the local pricing.

Four Cameras on a (Redmi Note) smartphone

The competition is on and all brands are going into the same direction – roll out an Android phone with four cameras on the rear. That’s what the Redmi Note 8 Series has to offer for its two new mid-range devices which are now available locally.

The Redmi Note 8 packs a 48MP quad-camera, while the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64MP quad-camera setup, a first in the Philippine market.

Also, Xiaomi Philippines is boasting of shipping these phones with an 18-watt fast charger. You don’t have to spend on a separate device to enjoy fast charging on these devices.

The Redmi Note 8

Redmi Note 8 is equipped with a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary lens that has a ½-inch sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and 79.4° field of view. There are three other cameras which include an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP camera that paves the way for the depth of field, and another 2MP camera dedicated for macro shots.

The front camera won’t be left out especially that we all love taking selfies and vlogs is now popular. The Redmi Note 8 has a 13MP, f/2.0 selfie camera.

Xiaomi retained the huge 4,000mAH battery capacity on the Note 8 but included an 18-watt fast charger out of the box.

Other features that you should look forward to in this device are the fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, water splash coating, and yes, the infrared blaster.
