Search Engine giant Google formally opens its operation and office in the Philippines. The Philippines office of search engine giant according to report is the fifth office in the region, other offices were already established prior to PH to included Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore offices.
Meantime, Google Philippines will be handled by local folks formerly employed by Yahoo! PH, Rappler and Ogilby. Google will also hire more manpower to help its operation in the country. Job hiring is underway and positions available will be posted in their website.
Its first country manager is a former executive from Friendster, Narciso Reyes.
UPDATE: Since we were joking around in Twitter about the office of Google PH can be found at google.com.ph and the way to find it is via Google map, Yugatech posted the address of Google Philippines, it is currently located at U308, Building B, The Plaza @ Northgate Cyberzone, FilInvest Corporate City, Alabang.
