With the start of #TatakPinoy International, Shopee breaks down barriers and opens up new opportunities for Filipino Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
This innovative program gives local sellers the tools to grow their businesses and connect with customers worldwide. This strengthens the global impact of Filipino brands.
It will also give Filipino business owners and artists the chance to show off their skills and goods to people worldwide.
This will spread the Philippines’ culture, craftsmanship, and creativity worldwide. Shopee’s markets in Singapore and Malaysia will be the first to be able to use this free tool.
TatakPinoy International is a big step toward Shopee’s goal of helping Filipino businesses thrive in the digital age by allowing them to grow, improve, and reach more people.
This can be seen in Shopee’s different services and features, such as Shopee Live, Shopee Affiliates, and Shopee University, which give sellers a way to learn how to start an e-commerce business, grow their brand, and connect with KOLs and buyers at the same time.
“Shopee’s core mission has consistently been to support the growth and success of Filipino entrepreneurs. We’re excited about their potential to expand their presence globally through #TatakPinoy International. This underlines our unwavering dedication to fostering local economic growth and forging sustainable opportunities for our community of local MSMEs. We will remain committed to harnessing the transformative potential of technology to facilitate long-term growth for our Filipino sellers,” shared Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines.
Soon, all Shopee sellers can sell on #TatakPinoy International, making shopping and cross-border shipping easier. This is how it works now, but it covers a broader area.
It will help Filipino sellers meet with people outside the Philippines who want to buy from them.
Shopee and its third-party logistics partners will then handle the order to ensure it gets filled.
Shopee sellers and brands can still sell locally, but they can now reach a more significant number of buyers and place more orders to get Shopee users in other markets and grow their customer base.
The new program from Shopee is a big deal for the e-commerce market in the Philippines and fits in with the country’s larger economic goals.
It is supposed to help local sellers and make it easier for people in Southeast Asia to share their cultures and work together.
