The upcoming successors of the Sony Xperia XZ1, namely the Xperia H8216 (single-SIM) and Xperia H8266 (dual-SIM) are again in the hot seats. as the alleged specs appeared in Weibo, and also in Geekbench revealing its benchmark scores in both single-core and multi-core.
Both models are expected to announce in late February 2018 during the Mobile World Congress. The concept image reveals a border-less screen with TRILUMINOS display and OmniBalance design. According to the leaked photo, the smartphone will be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 for graphics, and paired with either 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage, and with 4GB or 6GB RAM. The 5.48-inch 1080p display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel. It will be shipped with Android 8.1 “Oreo” and fueled by a 3,240 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Measuring 157 x 78 x 8.1 mm, the smartphone is remarkably larger than Xperia XZ1.
