The addition of a new Redmi smartphone: Redmi 9T, was revealed today by Xiaomi Philippines. Redmi 9T was designed to offer the outstanding performance and multi-day battery life that users want without sacrificing photography capabilities and overall design.
The Redmi 9T with its 48MP AI quad rear-camera is a photography powerhouse. The 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera of the unit accommodates large group photos and wide landscape shots without cropping, while its 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor make incredible bokeh-level close-up shots. A new movie frame feature that gives images a more cinematic look and feel without editing is also supported with Redmi 9T. It also includes a new time-lapse function that provides different shooting speed and length values so that users can capture innovative time-lapse images without pressing a DSLR or other professional camera.
With its 6,000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, Redmi 9T packs a punch, despite its lightweight nature. Redmi 9T provides higher efficiency with less heat output and lower power consumption than previous models, combined with its 11nm energy-efficient processor. In addition, the saving mode of the MIUI battery and reverse wired charging capabilities help optimize all-day, even multi-day use.
The Redmi 9T comes with a fast 18W charging system and a 22.5W in-box charger.

Redmi 9T will be available in 4GB + 64GB at a price of P6,990.00. Meanwhile, the 6GB + 128GB version will be available at P7,990.00. Both of Redmi 9T’s versions will be on sale at the Xiaomi Philippines Flagship Store on Lazada and Shopee on January 29, 2021. There will be a special offering of P500 off for the 4+64GB variant for 24 hours.
