Xiaomi SG sold 5,000 sets of RedMi note in 42 seconds

And the news is no longer exciting. Haha! Just kidding.

This is because today, Mi Singapore sold 5,000 units of RedMi Note in less than one minute.

The official announcement was posted in their Facebook page. While customers in the region cannot believe that it happened that fast, Xiaomi has a record to prove that it is possible to do it. They sold 3,000 units of Mi3 here in less than 2 hours; 10,000 units of RedMi Note sold in a second in Malaysia.

RedMi Note was sold in Singapore for SG 199, or about P7,000 if converted directly.

Meantime, there was an unofficial report by Yugatech that Mi3’s forcast of 3,000 units were not met. They only sold 1,300. Nonetheless it was still a succesful sale, no brand to date can sell a thousand units in just one day. And to put that into figures the 1,300 units is a total of P13.6M made in just one day.
