We love the brand when they listen to customers. When the next model they will launch will have what we asked for. This is what Zhiyun did to the upcoming handheld gimbal, the Zhiyun Smooth Q. The Smooth Q is the follow up to the Smooth 2 which has been popular, but consumers want more.

We want a gimbal that has USB port where we can use our power bank to charge it, in case the battery of the gimbal runs out during our shoot.

We want youthful colors to our gimbal. We want to match it with our clothes, or perhaps the color of our smartphone. Twinning is what we want with our handheld smartphone stabilizer.

Now you can match your smartphone with up to 5.5-inch display to the Smooth Q gimbal. Color choices include Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Space Grey.

According to Zhiyun, the Smooth Q can work well under extremely high temperature (up to 45℃）and low temperature (minus 15℃). It can sustain splash and snowy weather.

Charge and/or Recharge, no problem. Because the Zhiyun Smooth Q can do the booth. The microUSB port at the bottom supports 5V/2000mA power output, you can charge your phone while shooting. Although I think I wouldn’t do that during a shoot.

It has a huge battery of 26,650 Li-ion battery, which is built-in. On paper, it says it can last a 12-hour continuous ultra-long shoot.

The Smooth Q has a revamped control panel. It has a 4 directional joystick. There’s a LED indicator on the left and right above the joystick. The power bottom, mode keypad and manual zooming are on the same plate.

The Zhiyun Smooth Q Handheld is the Gimbal for the Millennials and for all movie makers, hobbyist, bloggers, vloggers and to anybody who are hooked on making cinematic and smooth videos.
