Gmail rolls out new Compose and Reply experience

Gmail just rolled out a new feature again, this time it makes composing and reply experience more faster. Other features were introduced too!

Gmail New Compose

If you login to your Gmail today, you will be greeted with a pop-up announcement that introduces you to the new compose and reply feature.

Within the Inbox window, without having to leave that view, you can start creating your new e-mail, a new window will pop-up on the lower right side of your screen and off you go to your business.

It is now faster to compose messages right from your inbox, with the re-designed look your new Gmail looks more simple and streamlined, and you become more empowered as you can check emails as you are typing. Plus, you can now compose two messages at once.

Formatting options like Boldface, Italics, and more appears only when you need it.

There is no turning back! This is the portion where you will hate some updates, in case you like to switch back to the old layout, you can only do so temporarily. At the bottom right corner of the of the message pane, you can click More, and select “Temporary switch back to old compose”.

I love it that Gmail has not stopped from adding up new features once in a while. I am a complete switcher from Yahoo! mail long time ago. After I switched to Gmail, I never went back.
