Intermittent power failure is the reason why GoPro is recalling the recently-launched drone. The company decided to recall every Karma drone sold since it became comercially available. This is due to sudden lose of power during flights.
GoPro is currently working to resolve this unfortunate issue and promise to refund everyone who purchased the drone.
They also said that replacements will be issued for the USD799 drone as soon as the problem is resolved.
“We are working in close coordination with both the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Federal Aviation Administration,” said GoPro CEO Nick Woodman. “We are very sorry to have inconvenienced our customers and we are taking every step to make the return and refund process as easy as possible.”
