OPPO F7 launch in the Philippines was a resounding success.
Let me tell you why in this feature story.
OPPO F7 is the company’s first 19:9 series with 25MP AI-powered selfie camera. The focus of OPPO in improving the “selfie” camera is still targetted to the selfie-centric Filipino consumer.
1. More than 4 Million OPPO smartphone sold
That’s more than 1M units of smartphone sold per year since OPPO entered the Philippine market. I still remember their first event where they launched the OPPO Find7 in April 2014.
Their aggressive marketing campaign and its partnership with the media, e-Commerce sites, and reseller partners, resulted in this figure presented by Ms. Jane Wan, OPPO’s Brand Marketing Director.

2. OPPO Online Partnerships
OPPO is not only aggressive in offline or traditional marketing strategy, they make sure they are present in all channels.
They also made sure that consumers that can’t make it to their presence in malls and kiosks can be served by online partners.
3. OPPO Partnership with Home Credit
To make it possible for every Filipino consumer, OPPO has partnered with Home Credit to make OPPO F7 easier to own.
Buying OPPO F7 via Home Credit gets you a zero percent interest for nine (9) months. No need to pay that one-time SRP of P17,990.
4. Globe OPPO F7
This is one of the best deal too if you don’t want to shell out the cash price of the OPPO F7. Get it free from Globe ThePlan 1499.
Also, you can use your GCash to buy the OPPO F7 thru its “scan to pay” promo. You get a P500 “cashback” when you use your GCASH. GCASH is also a product of Globe.
5. Smart OPPO F7

This figure is not as big as the figures in the OPPO F5 Pre-order, but still commendable considering the stiff competition.
The figure presented here is not yet final though considering the pre-order is not over yet.
7. OPPO x GCASH
Like I mentioned, OPPO’s team is serious in making its brand felt in all channels. They also launched a partnership with GCASH.
