Realme C1 Unboxing
This is the first Realme smartphone to be made available in the Philippines, the Realme C1.
Does it look familiar? Examine it closely.
But before you start imagining who is the look-alike let me emphasize that the Realme C1 has a huge display of a 6.2-inch notched screen with IPS HD+ (1520 x 720) resolution. That’s a massive display for media consumption.
Also, let me tell you immediately that this SD450-powered device has a huge battery capacity of 4,230mAH. The best match for the huge display is a long-lasting battery life.
Unboxing Realme C1 video
We unboxed the Realme C1 last night and here’s our video. Take a look.
Realme C1 Cameras
Not to be left out, the Realme C1 sports a dual rear camera having 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 with AF and LED flash. The main camera can record video up to 1080p.
The selfie shooter 8MP f/2.2 aperture.
MIA: Fingerprint Scanner, Add: Face Unlock
Note that there is the absence of the current standard security feature, the fingerprint scanner. But don’t fret because Realme C1 has enabled a fast and accurate “face unlock”, aside from the usual pattern and PIN unlock security features.
Realme is targetting the youth and naturally, this market segment desires a trendy design and a stylish body. The Realme C1 delivers this with a 2.5D curved back panel, which is protected by an unknown version of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Realme C1 sample photos
Here’s one of the first camera samples out of the Realme C1 smartphone.
Show in the photo is the F/2.2 aperture and the branding OPPO Realme C1.
The next photos are shot using the automatic camera settings only.
This is not one of those devices with a super thin bezel, but because its build is premium which is sandwiched by a glass. It feels nice to hold in the hands as well.
The display is kind of bland but it is clear nonetheless.
Aside from the huge battery of 4,230mAH, which is one of the selling points of this phone, I’d like to mention that having a dedicated microSD card slot is a plus. That means you can maximize the dual SIM features, which kind of popular for us Filipinos. The dedicated microSD is there to reinforce the 16GB internal storage. You can add up to 256GB additional storage using a microSD card.
