This partnership opens up new possibilities for blockchain technology.
The Filipino Web3 gaming community can now securely move their bitcoin from the Axie environment to GCrypto thanks to this agreement. Within the same app, users may effortlessly exchange these in-game currencies for fiat money or Philippine pesos.
Users can also utilize GCrypto as a gateway for conversion when playing Pixels and other games in the Ronin ecosystem of Sky Mavis.
Moreover, this initiative ensures compliance with the most rigorous industry governance practices and implements new measures to make the user experience even safer and more secure.
Up to 50% of Axie’s user population is made up of Filipinos, who have a dominant user base. Comparably, Pixel’s user base has grown among Filipinos as well, making the Philippines the game’s largest geographical with over 170,000 daily active users.
Together with these games, Ronin also provides Katana DEX, a decentralized exchange for direct blockchain trading of in-game currencies (such AXS and SLP) that is currently used by Axie, Pixels, and other network games.
