Insta360 has introduced the ONE RS, a revolutionary interchangeable lens action camera that gives artists all-in-one adaptability without sacrificing quality.
ONE RS seamlessly changes from a standard action cam to a creative 360 cam using a three-part design—one battery, one CPU, and three quick-swapping lenses. A new high-performance 4K Boost Lens with a 1/2′′ 48MP image sensor now gives you wonderfully clear wide-angle films and photographs, while a powerful Core gives you greater in-camera stabilization, sharper audio, and more.
The new lens and Core are also cross-compatible with the previous ONE R generation as a modular camera system, allowing developers to upgrade their camera at their own speed. With the Invisible Selfie Stick effect and 360 reframings, the previously launched 5.7K 360 Lens opens you with limitless creative possibilities. Meanwhile, owing to its 1-inch sensor, the 5.3K 1-Inch Wide Angle Lens co-engineered with Leica continues to deliver unrivaled image quality. The action camera is strong, sturdy, and waterproof to 16 feet, regardless of which lens is mounted (5m).
Upgraded 4K Boost Lens
Athletes, explorers, and artists will flock to the new 4K Boost Lens to create colorful and realistic action photos. The new lens takes clear 4K 60fps films and best-in-class 48MP stills thanks to an improved 1/2′′ 48MP image sensor.
The 4K Boost Lens also comes with two exciting new settings. Active HDR is the first mode, and it’s a game-changer for action sports. While most action cameras’ HDR settings are confined to stationary use owing to ghosting issues, Active HDR is built exclusively for activity. As you move, Active HDR stabilizes your footage, reducing ghosting and showing subtleties in the highlights and shadows that other action cameras miss.
The 6K Widescreen mode is the second cutting-edge choice. This mode delivers ultra-high-resolution 6K footage with a classic 2.35:1 ratio for a dramatic widescreen image, taking full use of the 48MP sensor.
The same 360 camera module
ONE RS guarantees that producers always have the ideal tool for the job thanks to its interchangeable lens architecture. While the 4K Boost Lens is good for focusing in on details, the 360 Lens is ideal for focusing on the action rather than the camera.
Getting unique images is simple with the 360 Lens, whether you’re on a motorcycle, skiing, or simply hanging out with friends. Simply press record and the camera will catch everything in 5.7K 360 degrees. Later, you may select your favorite viewpoint (or numerous views) and export the video as a flat video that can be shared like any other video.
Creators may also use the 360 Lens to shoot impossible third-person views of themselves in the present. The selfie stick is automatically stitched out of the final movie thanks to the camera’s dual-lens architecture, resulting in stunning video-game-like perspectives.
FlowState Stabilization is now built-in
Insta360’s unique FlowState Stabilization is now provided through the camera hardware with the powerful new ONE RS Core, resulting in smoother-than-ever footage. Creators can now publish smooth wide-angle material to social media without needing to process it in the Insta360 app thanks to improved stabilization in the camera.
360 horizon leveling ensures that your movie remains miraculously level no matter how much the camera rotates throughout the action. Toggle a switch with video captured on any of the three lenses in the Insta360 app or desktop program, and the footage will automatically level out.
New Core upgraded

A quick release mechanism for switching lenses on the fly, a windproof mic cover, and a heat dissipation panel to keep the camera cool while filming have all been added to the Mounting Bracket.
There’s no need to transmit files over WiFi with the Quick Reader attachment, which saves time, battery life, and mobile storage space. Simply connect it to the ONE RS to save files to the SD card, then connect it to your phone to begin editing.

• Android devices with Exynos 9810 and above chips, including Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, Note9 and newer models.

- Devices that do not meet the above requirements may still be able to use the app to control the camera, however, performance of some processor-intensive and AI-powered features may be sub-optimal.
- After testing, phones equipped with Qualcomm SDM765 5G chips have poor hardware decoding capabilities and are not supported for use, such as OPPO Reno 3 5G.
- App installation requires a mobile phone with a 64-bit system. A 32-bit system does not support app installation.
- The Snap Wizard feature is only compatible with iPhone 8 or above models (A11 or above chips); iPads with M1 chips; and Android devices with Kirin 990 and above chips (e.g. Huawei Mate 30 and above), Snapdragon 855 and above chips (e.g. Google Pixel 4/Xiaomi Mi 9 and above), or Exynos 990 and above chips (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S20 and above).
