OPPO Reno8 Series 5G officially launched in the Philippines

With the new OPPO Reno8 Series 5G, users can take pictures of apparent nights. OPPO’s latest phone, which they call the “Portrait Expert,” has a top-of-the-line portrait system that lets users document and record their moments from morning to night.

The new device can be pre-ordered starting September 1 at OPPO Brand Stores, partner dealers, and OPPO Philippines Official Stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

“Over the years, the Portrait Expert has been known to challenge the limits of smartphones’ camera technology. As we continue to innovate the OPPO Reno Series, we want to focus on one of the leading challenges for devices–capturing photos and videos at night. With the OPPO Reno8 Series 5G, people can now capture ultra clear nights and shine at their best moments, anytime and anywhere,” said Chiqui Tapawan, Head of Marketing Communications of OPPO Philippines.

The OPPO Reno8 5G has two Sony Flagship sensors built into it. Its front camera has a Sony IMX709 32MP sensor that works with an RGBW color array that OPPO made on its own. This feature lets in 60% more light than normal RGB lenses.

The back camera, on the other hand, has a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor. It has a large 1/1.56-inch sensor that lets in more light for better pictures. Both cameras also have a hardware-level digital overlap high dynamic range (DOL-HDR) that makes sure night portraits have the right amount of light and shadow.

The dual Sony Flagship sensors also work with Ultra Night Video, which helps improve the overall brightness of the image, the details in dark areas, and the image quality in low-light situations while keeping colors true and reducing image noise. It comes with Ultra Night Portrait, which lets you take photos faster at night, and Portrait Mode, which lets you make portraits that look like they were taken with a DSLR.

The OPPO Reno8 5G has a portrait system that looks like it belongs in a premium phone. It also has features that belong in a flagship phone and work well in the best moments. It has a 4500mAh battery and uses 80W SUPERVOOC super fast-charging technology to charge the battery to 50% in 11 minutes.

It is also powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G 6nm chip, and it has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM to make it run very smoothly. It comes with ColorOS 12.1, which gives users a personalized, safe, and smart experience. It has a lot of features, such as Omoji, which lets users make their own emoji avatars, Anti-Peeping for Notifications, which keeps users’ privacy safe, Air Gestures, which lets users control the device with hand gestures, and many more.
