Honor X9b camera samples
As the main topic of this article, the X9b camera is a total upgrade when compared to its predecessor, the X9a.
The main camera is now equipped with a 108MP f/1.8 aperture. The secondary rear camera remains to be 5MP ultrawide, and the macro lens has the same 2MP.
To take you to the real camera experience, here’s the camera UI of the Honor X9b.
It has 0.6 for ultra-wide shots, a 1x standard shot, and 3x zoom for a closer shot.
The aspect ratio has the default and recommended 4:3, 1:1 and a full-screen. Note that the 16:9 option has been omitted.
In terms of camera resolution, it can shoot up to 4k in 16:9 30fps format, 21:9 1080p (full screen), and for a low-resolution video, you still have the 720p option available.
As for the video recording, here’s the 1080p short footage I recorded out of the box.
Observe how high-quality not only the video footage but the audio quality as well.
One thing I noticed was the lack of video stabilization.
Conclusion
Honor Philippines was correct when it said the camera on the X9b is a total upgrade. The colors are bright, and they deliver crisp and detailed photos.
When a close-up shot is done, it blurs the background without any issue.
The only feature I wish Honor included was stabilization.
Honor X9b is scheduled to launch in the Philippines on January 12, 2022. The official price is still TBD.
Update:
The official price of the HONOR X9b in the Philippines is P16,999.
