Alongside the announcement of X-T30, Fujifilm is launching a new prime lens – the XF16mm f2.8R WR.
For the new in the Fujifilm naming series, let us decode characters that come with this 16mm lens.
First, the XF means a high-quality lens with metal construction and lens mounts, larger apertures, and aperture rings on the lens. The budget lens of Fujifilm is the XC series.
The R with F2.8R means aperture ring. For lack of code to use, Fujifilm used R.
And WR stands for weather resistant.
So, the XF16mm F/2.8R WR lens is a fixed focal length lens with F/2.8 opening and has weather sealing to it.
As you can see it has a metal mount to it. And its build quality is superb. It is very compact and lightweight also at only 155g with the lens caps attached.

Fujifilm XF16mm F/2.8 R WR Price (Philippines)
Fujifilm did not officially announce the official pricing, but one of their brand ambassadors has already posted the price in the Fujifilm Facebook group earlier.
It is also coming soon to the Philippines and comes with a price tag of P23,990.
